These are the release notes for the v2.6.0 release of Witboost.

Features​

Environment variables in templates​

Creation templates (and wizard), edit templates (and wizard), and reverse provisioning now support environment parameters for skeleton entities. These parameters make it easier to define environment-specific descriptors.

Witboost Info Panel​

A new "About Witboost" modal has been added to the administration panel. It displays key information such as the installed Witboost version, license expiration date, and the list of licensed modules.

Webhooks Administration Page​

It is now possible to configure notification webhooks from the "Extension Manager" page of Administration Panel. Learn more in the dedicated section of the documentation.

Improved error visibility in Edit & Test page​

The "Edit & Test" page now clearly highlights system components with processing errors that prevent the creation of a new release.

New picker for guardian policy selection in Tech Adapter management panel​

Added a visual selector to choose a governance policy when assigning it to a Data Contract Guardian for pushing evaluation results. This eliminates the need to manually enter the policy id.

New events​

New events have been added to the platform and will now appear in the event dumps. For the complete list of events, refer to the documentation.

Repo URL and User to the events and notifications + group as recipient type​

The source repository URL and the user who performed the action have been added to notifications and events regarding the registration of new platform entities (New System, New Template, New Blueprint, New Domain). Additionally, it is now possible to configure a Witboost group as a recipient type for notifications.

Data Contract Copilot​

The Data Contract Copilot helps users quickly fill out Data Contract schemas by providing intelligent field suggestions. It leverages the Witty Autocomplete Agent, which connects to the LLM provider configured in Witty to generate these suggestions.

Access Request notification​

The Access Control Request notification has been aligned to the standard notification flow.

It is now possible to configure an email trigger for this notification.

Pages reorganization​

The Software Catalog page has been moved to the Admin Panel, along with Task List, Installed Actions, and the Template Editor.
